You download TrueCost, then pay to activate it, and the licence is tied to the device you activate it on. Prices and discounts reflect the figures visible in the TrueCost application.
How to Buy and Activate
- Download. Get the TrueCost installer.
- Hit Buy now in the app. Connect to the internet once, open TrueCost and choose Buy now. A phone hotspot is enough.
- Pay with Paystack in your browser. Buy now opens a secure Paystack page in your browser.
- Go back to my app. After payment, use the Go back to my app button on the confirmation page. Once payment is verified, the licence activates automatically on that device.

One device only
One licence works on one device only. It is tied to the computer you activate it on and cannot be changed or moved to another device.
Licence and pricing notes
Each licence is available for a set number of months, or as a one-off licence that does not expire.
Internet and offline use. You need to be online once to buy and activate. A phone hotspot is enough, and it uses very little data. After activation, TrueCost works offline on that device. Prices shown in the app refresh the next time it has internet access.
